Veronica Fey

Veronica brings over a decade of experience in platform strategy, founder support, and operational excellence across the venture capital, legal, and finance sectors.  Known for her analytical thinking, Veronica balances empathy with high standards.  She leads platform development, drives portfolio growth, and enhances deal flow through strategic sourcing and network expansion.  At SoundBoard, Veronica does more than keep the trains running—she builds the track. 

 

Veronica’s professional journey began as a teenager, when she balanced academics, retail jobs, and military service.  These experiences instilled a strong sense of discipline and structure that have shaped her career.  Before entering venture capital, she focused on building and scaling overlooked operations. Her accomplishments include establishing operations from scratch at a law firm, managing bi-coastal operations for a global tech startup through its successful acquisition, and supporting C-suite executives at major organizations such as Samsung. 

 

Veronica's unique ability to create high-integrity systems empowers leaders to concentrate on essential aspects of their businesses.  She excels at translating complex visions into actionable plans while ensuring the fund operates smoothly and effectively.

 

She plays an active role in supporting the startup ecosystem through programming, founder education, and public speaking.   In addition to her work at SoundBoard, she serves as Co-Chair of VentureNext, an established investor network for non-coastal investors.  She is a trustee for a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young individuals.  Veronica holds an A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies from SUNY Nassau.
